A Few of Our Favorite Charleston Baby Boutiques

Have a baby on the way? Maybe it’s your little one’s birthday coming up! Need a new Easter outfit? Charleston and the surrounding Mount Pleasant area is full of darling baby boutiques. Each boutique has something special to offer, from sweet newborn coming home outfits, to charming southern-style dresses, to mommy and me matching looks, they each have such a wonderful selection of items.


Perhaps you’re looking for some simple essentials, a new stroller, or some cute baby or toddler toys, these boutiques have you covered! The second you walk in, you’ll have a hard time walking out. For your convenience, many of these boutiques offer some sort of personalized shopping experience, whether that be one-on-one customer service or even simply a warm welcome and kind service. For those of you who are just tickled by some classic southern charm, many of these services include monogramming and personalization as well!

Kids on King

Kids on King was recently voted the best baby store in Charleston. This charming boutique features upscale children’s clothing and is located in historic downtown Charleston. Products range from newborns up to pre-teens. Kids on King primarily retail children’s southern classic styles. In addition to the clothing, Kids on King also specializes in special occasion wear, christening attire, footwear, unique toys and gifts, as well as accessories. At Kids on King, quality is of the utmost importance. All items are personally selected for each season. For a more personalized experience, Kids on King offers monogramming. Any momma would find it hard to walk out of this boutique empty-handed! 


Under the Almond Trees



Under the Almond Trees is your one-stop shop for all things baby! Their newly renovated store includes a  wide selection of merchandise, including car seats, maternity items, clothing, and toys. Under the Almond Trees is the perfect place to grab a sweet gift for newborns to age 8! In addition to the wonderful baby and children items, they also offer personal shopping services as well as baby registries. Carrying over 50 brands in stores, you’re sure to find something special and perfect for your little one. In addition to the shopping fun, they are so involved with bringing people together in the community. Under the Almond Trees hosts community events such as author signings, movie screenings, pet adoptions with Pet Helpers, children’s safety and CPR classes. Pink Chicken - New York

Nestled on one of the busiest shopping streets of Charleston, Pink Chicken is a female-owned boutique originally rooted in New York City. The pieces at Pink Chicken are full of vintage roots, happy mixes of colors, and patterns, and most of all - the shared spirits of mothers and daughters. If details and patterns are your thing, then Pink Chicken is the place for you. In addition to simply selling unique and quality garments, Pink Chicken has also launched a program to give back called Pinkie Banks.
